The Telford Inn

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Such a fondness of this pub from the first moment to the last. Thankyou for such great service ) the homemade steak pie was the most amazing thing I've tried in 2020 you must try this! Don't quibble or question, go to the Telford Inn!

The location is lovely and the food was reasonably good but the landlord was obnoxious and condescending both to our group and everyone else we overheard him interacting with. We appreciate there are rules to keep in these unusual times but there's no harm (nor cost) involved in being polite, saying please, offering a 'thank you' and treating customers as though they are valued.

I'm very sorry, I don't know how to reply on here to personal reviews. I would firstly like to say thankyou very much to all of you for your wonderful comments and photographs to all of the people that have come and enjoyed your experiences with us, it really does mean a lot. To the two reviews that found both party's not happy, I was there for both occasions and there are always two sides to every story. Whilst keeping the public safe, the staff also have to be safe, because of this we are only allowed two members at a time (working very long hours sometimes without breaks) in our kitchen and two behind the bar. Times are challenging, especially Bank Holiday and on the last day of eat out help out.Again, thankyou so much to you all and take care... The Telford.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Charming pub from the first staff member to the last with such a pleasant atmosphere I will be returning once I'm in this area! To anyone thinking maybe, you really need to try this place ) The homemade steak pie was superb and the large yorkie was fantastic and other family members also enjoyed the Hunters chicken which also looks absolutely fantastic.

Lovely traditional canal side pub. British menu. Kid friendly, play area outside and kids menu. Excellent service and decent food.
