Beautiful tea room, very attentive and friendly staff. A lovely selection of beautifully presented sandwiches and cakes, all served with steaming hot tea, and smiles. A lovely experience

Went for afternoon tea for my Mom's birthday on Saturday afternoon. Originally we sat outside as it was lovely and sunny, the staff said they would keep our table reserved inside just incase the wasps got too much...which they did as soon as the food came out, the staff were very helpful in helping us carry our drinks and food inside. I opted for gluten free sandwiches and thought it was great that I got to choose 2 fillings for my sandwiches. It was all very filling, and we got given boxes to take home cakes we didn't manage to eat. Would definitely recommend, great value for money and extremely filling!

Sarah and her team have got the balance right. They have all social distancing and hand sanitizer available. The best thing though is the great food and service you receive. Well worth the visit. This was our second time in three days

Although its cute china and shabby chic decor and local buzz is what a tea shop should be about, I found it lacked...our table rocked back forth and required paper under one leg, although our tea was ok our cream tea arrived 10 minutes after our tea...the jam was red...but tasteless, couldn't work out if it was strawberry or dyed turnips from Poland... the scones were warm and adequate...but decidedly manufactured...the cream, seemed like frozen canned squirted into small jars....the table we had was by the counter and constantly oppressed by people standing next to it.... although every cafe has to run on a systematic method of delivery, this one felt like it...impersonal and slightly like you were being processed by a machine... certainly not worth the money if paying for it... shame as it seemed like it should offer a better experience.
