It was busy when we entered and thought we would have to wait a while but the lady serving was really efficient and we was seen promptly. All the food coming out looked really nice so we went for the ham, egg and chips and wasn't disappointed, we loved the China cups it was lovely touch. We'll definitely be coming back here next time we come to town

A nice straightforward tea rooms with attractive looking cakes on offer and a good light lunch menu. Nice ambience, friendly staff. Had a delicious home made ( I think!) soup and average tasty tuna sandwhich. Lets face it there's only so much you can do with a tuna sandwhich & it was fine. Nice bread but v thick cur, which is not my thing though common these days. Heaven knows why.
Lovely little place, told to take a seat, ignored for 15mins, whilst they took orders from others who came in after me, left and went for coffee elsewhere. Other patrons seemed happy though!
The best scones I have tasted! Pleasant staff and atmosphere.
