Called in just before closing on a cold but bright Saturday. Cracking slice of Biscoff cake washed down with a good strong brew in front of the open fire. Top stuff!

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the welly walk at Bolton Abbey. Absolutely delicious, the food really was first class. We all had paninis, great choice for vegetarians. We didn't book and were served really quickly by the friendly staff, ideal with small children. Would definitely recommend this place to people

This tea t shop has some fantastic views of Bolton Abbey. I was disappointed as they were slow to clear the tables and even slower to serve. We had a coke icecream float but the coke was very warm so the ice cream just melted straight away. Staff were lovely but were very busy.

Friendly service from our Hungarian waitress who served us a delicious couple of latte's with a naughty slice of carrot cake. We were inside but the outside terrace has great views across the river wharfe meandering valley and Bolton Abbey.

We had a very disappointing lunch here. We both had egg and cress sandwiches which tasted like they had just scraped some cheap pre-made egg mayonnaise out of a container. It didn't taste like egg at all, just the bitter seasoning that was in the sandwich. The brown bread was pretty mediocre as well. Not enjoyable at all. We also had a mint slice each which was rather sickly and excessively sweet. This disappointing lunch cost over 23 which I think is very poor value for money. To top it off the toilets are outside and have no hot water to wash your hands with.
