Absolutely fantastic food and service. Very highly recommended to come here to eat. The taste in the cuisine is amazing. Ripon always welcomes you with open arms like it's family. Kids friendly which is always great too. Keep up the great service.

The only thing better than the service is the food! We went in for a meal just four days after they opened on a Friday night and it was a fantastic experience. Definitely among the best Indian food we have ever had. Much of the food is home cooked by the family and it shows - amazing onion bhaji and home made samosa. Had the chicken chill masala which comes on a sizzler plate and was fantastic. Super flavorful, just the right amount of spice. Although we did not have dessert (too full!) they appeared to have a much more extensive and enticing selection than most Indian restaurants are known for. Worth also commenting on the service - the owner served us himself and could not have been more gracious or attentive. Took time to talk to us about the food and the restaurant without being intrusive. Highly recommend The Tamarind - we shall be back!

Absolute complete and utter joke in regards to the takeaway and customer service, placed an order which was \accepted\, two hours later I try to call to find out where my food is only to find that the number supplied doesn't even ring, and that the website has been suspended. I then use the live message service to try and again find out what is happening with my order and cancel it only to not get a response in any way shape or form
