This is one of my favourite pubs in Birkenhead, there's some great pubs over here and this is a particular favourite of mine. My pale ale was really good, from the first sip you can tell you're enjoying a quality ale ,well balanced, hints of toffee and a big hit of hops, a totally refreshing brew indeed, my brother also gave me a thumbs up to his pale ale.

What a Sunday treat,great and varied live music,excellent beer (Titanic Plum Porter for me) and very friendly staff.Really good atmosphere,the pub has wonderful views over the Mersey and due to its location has a refreshingly \away from it all\ feel. Escape from it all for a few hours at The Swinging Arm.
Great pub nice people give it your support in difficult times.
Great pub, great beer and always a good atmosphere. Staff are excellent, can't fault the place!
If you like rock music, you will love this place. I went to an open mic evening, pub and atmosphere very good, people really nice. Sound system great. A little gem !
