Very disappointing all-round. We came here for a meal to celebrate my grandparents' diamond wedding anniversary. We checked the website to see if we would be able to bring our dog, assuming that it would be fine as it boasts of being a 'dog-friendly pub'. As soon as we got in, we were told that we couldn't take him through unless the rest of our group was moved to a different part of the pub. This wasn't really an option; they'd settled down and I'm not going to have my eighty-something year-old grandparents make the effort to do that. My partner had to drive back home with the dog. It's not unreasonable to have different areas of the pub, but this should be communicated on the website. It wouldn't have been an issue to leave him at home if we'd have known, but it was an issue as we'd made the journey. Service was slow. The food was average at best. I made the mistake of ordering the beef burger, but it was tough and didn't taste of much. Ironically, my dog would have happily polished it off if he'd been allowed there. There are plenty of better pubs and restaurants out there for the money, so we won't be returning.

Really nice place.. clean and welcoming.. really lovely staff go over and above.. food was served hot and fresh.. definitely worth a visit
Had a lovely meal, wonderful meal portion sizes, we booked really late via phone, no problem at all! No long waits on foods and was absolutely delicious! Enjoyed very much!
