It's a very nice pub that does a reasonable Sunday lunch, if a little pricey for what's on offer. The turkey and pork was good, the sides all nicely done, though the beef rump wasn't the best I've had - cooked pink but not quite a tender enough a joint for this to work well. Perhaps an off Sunday, but I'd far rather they slow-cooked the beef if they don't manage to get a joint of the quality needed to be tender and tasty cooked rare. Still a good meal overall though, and very good quality kids food (burgers and nuggets, but done very well with good meat).

Liked the old pub. Nice menu but steer clear of the tough roast beef. Smoked duck very good if a little scarce.
Unfortunately yet another new 'chef' regulars will agree each time a new chef takes over it takes another step down from the good old days. Bread starter which previously was freshly baked in the kitchen bread was slices from a package bread loafs... Roast was a far cry from the old days. Poorly prepared and badly presented basic pub food. Mixed response from staff from one guy who simply walked away from the table to the younger guy who seemed very eager to try to make amends and make up for the food with dessert. The situation was dealt with the bill being waived which is a nice gesture but I'd rather pay for my food and enjoy it. Now sat in another restaurant having lunch number 2. Atleast the dogs will be pleased with the meat we couldnt eat which they packed for us to take away. Although perhaps too salty for the dogs to eat. Bring back the good old days. Please
Has to be my most favorite Pubs in the greater Milton Keynes area. Food is always fresh - even got a shot gun slug in a serving of Phesant one time - the Reply from the waiter - at least you know it was a wild Pheasant - too true.
Had Sunday lunch here with the family plus my father in law. Great location, lovely garden and terrace area and easily accessible for those with mobility issues. Attentive and speedy service by the young staff plus the best roast beef lunch - with all the trimmings - I have had in many years. Beef melted in the mouth and was cooked to perfection! Bravo and thanks to all the crew at The Swan Inn. Highly recommended.
