We have visited The Swan at Whiston a handful of times now. Each time we have had a meal there the food has been outstanding. All the staff are friendly, there's no rush to order which is a bonus for me. I would recommend the scampi as I've never tasted anything like the beautiful coating on this dish. We will definitely be returning to this lovely pub.

Best burger I've ever had, even beats the old bear grill burger in stafford. Great speedy service for our party of 9, all the food came out together. The portions were massive. Everyone loved their meal. We can't comment on dessert as none of us could fit one in We will be going again for sure. Thank you.
had a meal this evening . Staff very welcoming but that's where is positive ends. The meal was by far one of the worst meals I have eaten. Hunters chicken was ordered by 2 of us and it was covered by far too much barbecue sauce and the chicken was so tough the knife could not cut it and the bacon was undercooked. Thought it was very overpriced for a pub meal. Don't think I shall be returning.
Beer was as usual well up to standard and priced very reasonably. Staff efficient and friendly and engaging in pleasant chat whilst serving and administering the required rules regarding convid 19. A very pleasant day was enjoyed by all in our small party.
A great drinker bar and restaurant. Happy to visit again and again. Oh and they have a pool table and jukebox!
