We found this place on Google as we were driving through. Extremely busy as it was the last few hours before lockdown 2. Staff even though busy were extremely helpful. Food was piping hot and arrived really quickly.

Great value as usual for Wetherspoons. Well set up for covid safe eating and very aware and helpful Team of staff. Open fire a special added bonus for cold winter afternoons.
It's a nice whetherspoons, but as of my last visit, which was a couple of days ago, they now brought in the rule, not only do you have to fill in a track and trace (I'm fine with this as we need to stay safe) but now, if you're ordering at the bar for anything, you have to put the form in the box right in front of them with an etd (estimated time of departure), so that's a bit annoying. The food is good, something for everyone and it's good value for it's money, the drinks range is quite expensive, all be it soft drinks or alcoholic. The decoré is quite nice, got dark wood chairs and tables, beams in the walls, at the front, has an old how library style shelves in and the lighting is just right
This pub/restaurant is amazing!! The quality of the food is outstanding I had my best steak ever in here. In addition the staff members are very friendly and attentive! Thank you so much for the amazing service provided daily!
