This is a lovely place to eat. Great food ( mid range prices) good quality food. The staff are very safety conscious and friendly. The only downside was the room was cold hence why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5. But despite that it's worth a visit. I will definitely be visiting again.

Shared a birthday meal here with the family and it was perfect. They took our orders ahead of time as there were 8 of us. It wasn't long after we arrived that we got our food and it was delicious. Thumbs up all around, particular for the clearly homemade chips! They even cottoned on that it was a birthday meal and brought out a free brownie with a sparkler on for the birthday boy. The service was attentive, warm and personal. They paid attention to detail and remembered the quirks in how people took their drinks. Have been twice overall now and can say that the Sutton Arms consistently offers thoroughly good food and thoroughly good service. Would certainly recommend

What a great restaurant. With the current COVID restrictions it was still a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Lamb is to absolutely die for and the service was second to none. Will 100% be back. Excellent.
Staying at Forrest Pines and fancied eating off site. Found the Sutton Arms on the TA website & it had decent reviews. Very busy when we just turned up but they slotted us in. I had Pea Risotto with Hake & poached egg & the wife had Veg Lasagna - both delicious. Desserts were homemade Bakewell for her & a stacked shortcake for me, again really good. Of note whilst serving a busy pub the staff were catering for a busy children’s part in a side room & did pa great job of managing both.
