Surprisingly great pub. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. I always used to see it as a pub you popped into on the way to somewhere else, but it has become a destination in its own right.

I have eaten here a few times but lately i am finding the food has gone down in taste and quality. Had the posh bacon and egg sandwich on the weekend was terrible. The bread was stale in texture may be sat under a hot plate too long, bacon was on the fatty side and eggs where metallic tasting to me. For some reason there was a sprig of dill in there which really does not work in terms of flavour. Having said that this a good place for a beer and the staff are always pretty friendly.
One of the few places locally serving Honeydew, one of my absolute favourites. Five stars just for that! Oh, it's also a nice place for a sit and think
Great atmosphere, very good pint of Guinness. They now serve steins of beer too! Staff friendly and have covid rules managed well. Recommended!
Great pub next to Surbiton station & bus routes good selection of beers and wine plus decent menu.Nice seating areas available and tables always clean and tidy. Bar area is great with limited seating on bar stalls. Toilets are a little bit of a let down especially the mess on the radiator under under the hand dryer
