Doing a valuable service in offering high quality varied takeaways. Most food has got to be 8-10/10 Top tip - please ensure food packed up doesn't leak, albeit cardboard and paper packaging is preferred to plastic for taste and environmental reasons, having food leak onto ones car seat isn't ideal. I notice some customers bring there own thermal/cool bag, which I guess is important. Roasts did unfortunately go a little soggy in packaging. However the roast pork, crackling and veg is amazing. Highly recommended.

Booked a table for a large group 12 the food was absolutely fantastic! Very good price and perfectly cooked meat. We had Pork, Beef and Goat with roasties and fresh greens. The staff were kind, polite and indulged our interesting questions about the glug jugs. Will definitely be back again. Thank you very much!

Fab, freshly cooked steak sandwich and tasty chips followed by a very chocolatey chocolate brownie as part of their Bank Holiday menu. Great outdoor space with plenty of tables, sun and shade. Good vibes for both adults and children alike. All round great country pub made all the better by a talented chef and mouth watering menu.
We've visited several times in the last few weeks as the garden is covered and there are good Covid measures in place. The native lobster in garlic butter was a treat and absolutely delicious.
