A little bit of a hidden gem here - there's nothing particularly spectacular about the place itself, and the evening was made a little awkward by the continually skipping records that were playing. I didn't have particularly high hopes... But oh my god that food was good. I had the braised lamb which was really tender and tasty. The desserts were pretty incredible too - I've attached a picture of what has to be one of the tastiest cheesecakes I've ever eaten - I'd highly recommend it. Overall, the food and friendly service more than made up for the atmosphere and I'm really looking forward to going back.

Last minute booking while on the motorway. A wide choice for those that have fussy eaters. We had a group of various ages including kids and enjoyed the food immensely. Service was prompt, the food was well presented and very tasty. Portions were large enough for even the biggest eaters of our group and the bill with a couple of rounds of drinks was not expensive. With staff that were attentive and clean smart decor we could only compliment them all. Many thanks
Went for Sunday lunch. So disappointing. Social distancing and covid aside the food was not value for money. All had Sunday roast. All Yorkshire puddings were burnt and virtually inedible. Hardly any veg and hit and miss with whether cooked or not. Wine was expensive. No idea of price when we ordered. Sadly whole experience was not great. Disappointed that food was not up to the same standard it was a couple of years ago. Wont be going back....
I think fine dining is a stretch but the service was super and the food was good. We took advantage of the eat out scheme and so it was very reasonable. Good selection of food, some a bit hit and miss but overall well worth a visit, and child friendly.
Lovely meal at The Sun Inn tonight. Relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food. Good social distancing measures in place with the tables well spread out. Would definately recommend.
