menu might look like the usual pub grub, but food is really a step above! one of the best steak and ale pies I've ever had, and definitely the best sticky toffee pudding. lost a star because our bread basket was stale, and service was quite simply appalling (and yet I would return for the food)

We had an amazing birthday lunch at the Sun Inn today. Unfortunately all the outside tables were booked and we had to stay indoors but they had a safe one way system in place and spaced the tables out. The food was amazing! I had such a tasty seafood pasta that I really recommend if you visit them as well. The view was amazing as always and the staff very friendly.
Lovely old Inn serving good British food. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked Sunday lunch for my 50th and was not disappointed. Food was fantastic as was the service. Dogs are more than welcome too!
Good for vegans; lots of choices. Staff friendly and accommodating (we didn't book but they squeezed us in). Welcomes dogs too. Dogs and vegans!!
One of the best pubs on the island with fantastic sea views. Ales well kept and fairly priced. Didn't eat but the food looked excellent. Worth a visit.
