Possibly a little bit pricey but our tandoori cod and pork belly were excellent. Well presented and good to eat, worth it. Service was good and plenty of inside space. Will definitely revisit, yet again.

Love the Summerhouse. Not been there since March and the ambiance and food were great. Lots of changes to the restaurant and front bar The booths look great . We sat outside before the meal and it was busy but no one crowded us. Food was excellent I had fish cake starter and the fish with Bombay potatoes main meal both excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Lovely afternoon.

Excellent food and service. A little overpriced but it is a very nice venue. 17 for pie and mash is low on value but tasted really good. Great for a meal and then drinks in the bar

Very frosty reception when we entered the restaurant and didn’t feel welcomed. We was sat on a table where you was practically back to back with somebody else and not social distanced, when we asked to change tables we wasn’t allowed to move to one of the many available tables although we booked well in advanced and our request seemed like too much trouble. The staff overall seemed like they didn’t care, we’ve been twice recently and both times things were forgotten i.e the desserts we ordered never arrived. The only reason we’d come back is for the great food hence the 3 stars but it’s a shame they don’t do takeaway because their customer service is appalling.
