The Suffolk Arms

We have just taken delivery of their new take away Sunday lunch package. It looks terrific and so much attention to detail! I can't see us cooking a Sunday lunch from scratch if it continues after lockdown. Good value too at 26 for two generous portions. Will report further after cooking and eating it! We have now cooked and eaten the traditional Sunday lunch. Excellent! The crowning glory was the gravy which just made all the other items delicious. (Tip: don't waste the meat juices which appear as the meat is rested, pour them into the gravy). The accompanying instructions are very clear and the effort involved is minor. This is a pioneering offering which offers genuine home cooked Sunday lunch with minimum effort. All mums please note!

Nice local pub.But I've got one negative feedback - they have not idea what is proper whiskey glass. I didn't satisfied enough of my whiskey because of that.

Popped in for a early lunch with daughter. Really nice kids menu. Nice options on menus, all reasonably priced. Both meals (and shared desert) were quality, if we lived local this would be our local! Welldone Mark and team, all the best for the coming weeks with the challenges you face. Hopefully see you soon.

I’d heard that The Suffolk Arms was under new management, so the boys and I decided to have lunch there this Sunday just gone, and it was immaculate! Particularly impressive considering that it was their first full week of opening. Great drinks selection, including a small and nicely put together cocktail list, and the food was cooked perfectly. Best roast I’ve had in ages, well done team!

Popped in just after they opened and had a lovely lunch. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!
