Absolutely fantastic service from Hugo. Friendly and by far the best price. Amazed at the result, the wood has come back to life. If anyone knows wood- Hugo does. Would highly recommend and will use again.
So glad I got in touch with Hugo at Strip Shack when restoring my Victorian terraced house. He knows everything about everything and always happy to take the time to give fair and honest advice. His 'strip shack' is not exactly your regular antique showroom so don't expect a polished shop, but it is an absolute Aladdins' cave of beautiful items at very reasonable prices.
Not only did our 1950s period doors come back gorgeously stripped of their 40years of paint, but Hugo was a massive help and support, providing information we would have spent months researching. Would absolutely recommend!
Super service, and very pleased with the results, Hugo was extremely helpful and clearly had a passion for restoring wood. Communication was spot on and doors were returned in good time enabling me to get them hung back on. Superb knowledgeable know how was shared and I couldn’t be happier. Thank You Hugo.
