Brilliant little pub, friendly staff and a very nice lunch, one way system in place tables set out for distancing and all the staff wore masks, great selection of real ales well kept and changed every 144 pints (according to the boss) love this place, well worth a visit.

So friendly and welcoming. Well organised and while stricty covid regs compliant it doesn't seem to get in the way! Great value lunch and good choice of real ales. Parking can be a problem but worth it A Proper pub.

i use this pub occasionally whilst out walking. ( it is on the greensand ridge walk.) the welcome is always warm. the food is great. the bar man is a real people person and a dog lover too. i recommend it as a friendly, homely , no frills place to stop for a pint or a meal.
