Great little pub, beautiful kept, spotless loos and last but not least a great barmaid.

So I usually always stop here as it's a 30 minutes wait for my connecting train on the Strood platform, or a two minute walk here. It's always been friendly, warm, and good beer. I usually pick up a bottle for the train as I leave. Makes a tedious journey much much better
Great pub for a quiet drink. A locals local.
I met some friends there. The place is quite nice. It has a pool table. The other people were reasonably friendly. Only one real ale though.
As a local and experienced DJ, I wanted to share my gift with the patrons of The Steam Packet with my choice in music, only to realise after putting one Great British Pound and selecting my choice of song that the radio was on!!!! #DJsForJustice
