The day was excellent from start to finish. Excellent cuisine and service. Yes it was pricey but who cares when you get to travel in a class you simply don't get on rail today.

I had the experience of going on the steam train the Princess Elizabeth on Saturday 29th. October 2016. Although it was an early start and late home I want to say how very much I and the family with me really enjoyed the trip. The girls on the train were very helpful and friendly and added to my enjoyment of the day along with the nice weather, it will stay with me for a long time to come as it brought to mind many memories of travelling for child hood holidays. Also the men in the family worked for the railways one being in communications, in time table setting and my older brother a steam train driver from the age of 15, and all that that entailed. There was nothing more that you could to make the day anymore perfect for me thank you so very much. Yours Sincerly Mrs. Carol Johnson.
