The Station Hotel Cefn

Excellent pub, friendly welcome from all the staff. Their knowledge of the local area was fantastic and we were delighted to find such a fabulous watering hole after a beautiful meander through some of this area’s ancient industrial past. One special attraction was the book area where you could pick up a book by the fire and relax. We would definitely recommend and will visit again when in the area. Friends from Cardiff - look forward to seeing you again!

Stopped off for a much needed drink on a very hot day, nice patio out back. Staff friendly and helpful, will be returning to this place next time we are in the area

Popped in for a bite to eat whilst walking the Taff Trail. Lovely omelette and toastie. Like a little cosy country pub inside!

This is one of those special, secret places the locals don't tell you about. Ignore the main menu. Pick a delicious pie from the specials board. I had a steak pie filled with rich gravey and a perfectly-poured pint of cider on a quiet Sunday. At least four or five amazingly good and varied vegetarian options; my wife had a three-cheese, potato and mushroom pie served with peas and a generous portion of well-prepared, \proper\ chips.
