My Mum and Dad booked a room I met them for food. The Pizza is absolutely amazing. Very busy very loud. When asked the manager moved us to a lovely quiet corner. I'll definitely be returning on my Own after my parents leave.
Visited a couple weeks back and enjoyed my time, especially in the beer garden. Good selection of drinks and food was good. Only downside was there was no monitoring of numbers through the door and people walked in without ‘checking in’ for track and trace.
This is a superb place to stay. While the room is small they are kept beautifully and it's got everything you need. The best part of staying here is the service from the magnificent staff. They were so helpful, it is the best service I have ever had from a hotel. They made suggestions on where to go and what to do with our short time in the city. They gave us blankets for our picnic at Woolerton Hall, then they gave us a knife for the bread, then they asked us if we wanted paper plates and napkins as well! The pizza they serve is fantastic, though it's only from 5pm so no lunch. They have a superb beer garden with a playground that my kids loved. I would definitely recommend staying here, it was fantastic!
