Wonderful little pub in stunning countryside! Food is fab and drinks in the huge beer garden is a must. Lovely views, great staff and friendly locals. Take a walk along the canal, then have a refreshing pint afterwards.. Perfect!

Not quite as it has been since earlier this year and with the Covid causing such havoc despite their very best efforts things have not come back to normal As a regular user I do believe that as soon as this emergency is over the management will bring back the old Star Inn and welcome back the community.
Covid precautions are comprehensive and well managed, good value for money.
Decent beer and grub. Rural setting. Decent atmosphere. Friendly locals. Excellent.
