Just had 2 steaks 1 medium 1 well done, both cooked to perfection, tender & tasty, infact both said best steaks we've ever had. Great service as well. Shame Ryan & Beth are leaving hope they get another pub nearby soon.

Quaint old pub, with new tenants, selling good reasonably priced beers and spirits and the food is also very good. We had a family party recently in an upstairs room that was brilliant. They do have Quiz nights there. Staff are friendly and can't help you enough. There is seating outside for those summer days
Just been for lunch today and really enjoyed it. Safe distancing and clean, the food was amazing and the added bonus of 25% off food and soft drinks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays was great. Staff lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be returning.
Celebrated our 60th Wedding anniversary in the Stanhope Arms and it was where we had our reception all those years ago. The waitress was lovely and made us feel special. The lunch was delicious. May we take this opportunity to wish the landlord and his family all the best for the future.
Very kind very nice staff. Good feeling.x
