Fantastic country pub. Food and menu were absolutely amazing, I had a chicken breast with mushroom and tarragon sauce and it was amazing. Desert was very nice as well. Drinks were decent. Service was very friendly and attentive. I appreciated their patience. Food is a decent price. Decor is authentic and old style.

The pate starter on the plate looked like a lump of something else you wouldn't wish to eat so presentation was poor although it tasted ok The crispy pork bites starter was not crispy at all .the mains the chicken burger was ok but the ceaser salad just didnt taste nice the bacon looked like old meat it was to vinegar tasting. A lady on another table returned her risotto as it was lumpy and stoggy I wouldn't reccomend this place nor will return however the staff were polite and friendly
Such a good pub. Can't say enough how pleased we were to find this little gem. Staff were ultra friendly, with other customers being just as welcoming. The cosy fireplace and dogs made for a welcoming reception. The food was beyond belief. So tasty and so much!! At a good price! Great for veggies and great for hungry people. So much tasty food. Thank you to all the staff and dogs.
Only had a refreshment. COVID in place. No bike rack but pleasant. Menu looks tasty. Pleasant stopover on the road.
