Good but not great - It’s good to see the Stables open again and buzzing with punters, but the menu is limited and seems to cater for the large portion eater. Starter choices are very limited, no prawn cocktail on the all day menu and no sign of any mushroom dishes. Again with mains, only one steak choice no fillet on the menu or surf and turf either. Generally a lack of wow factor apart from the cocktails which are some of the best we’ve had on dry land. A plat de jour would be nice and a few more options on the menu, but good start and hope to see thing get better.

It's a beautiful restaurant with a homey feel esp when the fire is going in the main room during peak times. A very convenient location in groomsport close to a historical cottage and the sea to watch on a pretty day. Yummy food and good service

Food nice, covid restrictions in place but not enough to make you feel uncomfortable. Attentive and pleasant staff
