Tonight hubby and I really fancied a “proper dinner” but where both too tired to cook! We ordered 2 AMAZING steak pies with mash and veg and then the cinnamon and apple crumble with the most BEAUTIFUL homemade custard! Fantastic service, collection was so simple and they couldn’t do enough for us! Highly recommend

What a WONDERFUL recommendation! We drove up from London to view a local garage’s farm machinery. We asked for a recommended pub for lunch - what a BIG pity this is off the beaten track and 1:30 hours drive from home. A wonderful menu choice plus “hand-delivered portable chalk board “Specials”. A very difficult choice for Starters and Mains - all the dishes sounded delicious - and our choices were beautifully presented and all disappeared. Cooked to perfection, pure perfection. The service was second to none, with a warm welcome and beautifully attended to throughout. Don’t hesitate - just go. A really lovely find. Easy to park, nice setting and fine food. We will return...

Very nice Sunday lunch in the sticks. Very good, friendly attentive staff. I fancy going back to try some of the game dishes I saw they did online.
