Nice quaint and idyllic country pub a selection of ales and beers. Food was OK, traditional pub food, nothing fancy, but above average. Staff are friendly and helpful, although not very prepared with setting up with cutlery and condiments before the food arrived. Had a lovely time and patrons were also friendly and welcoming.

AKA Ace. I’ve been a local here for nearly 60 years. My grandfather and I went in for a drink after the paper round back in the sixties. I reckon the current landlord and his wife are doing a bloody good job. It’s had it’s ups and downs over the years but It’s nice to see the pub clean and tidy. The landlord has obviously been very busy. Today I had a curry, served by a lovely young lady. The beer is excellent.over the last few weeks I’ve used the takeaway service. Also very good. Well done you.
Very impressed with the screens on the bar and screens between tables. You go in one door and leave by another, it all feels very safe. And the food and service was really good. A lot of effort has been made to give customers confidence
