A great local. Thatched and quaint. I understand it is owned and run by local community. Beer is excellent and local. Food is good. They have a pizza oven out back. Very friendly and a lovely place to drop in at the end of the day. If only all pubs were like this.

One of the best breakfasts ever! Ideally situated if you are staying at the Shottisham camp site (but well worth travelling to if you are not). We noticed that they had just started doing a Sunday morning breakfast and it turned out to be one of the best breakfasts ever. No, seriously! All locally sourced produce on one enormous plate - magnificent. Try the full English and also, the American pancakes with bacon and Maple syrup.
Amazing service, even in difficult circumstances. Great variety of food, vegans catered for and great range of drinks. Top drawer stuff and look forward to visiting again!
Good authentic local pub and good service; I’d just suggest some chutney be supplied with the pulled pork baguette .
Food very good. Not so certain about the welcome received on ordering. I will be generous as I may have got too close to the bar - but not as close as the two ladies ordering in front of me!
