My partner and I were passing by and we stopped by for lunch. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Even though it wasn’t busy due to the restrictions, the atmosphere was great. We had the corn fed chicken and roasted hake and they were both wonderfully cooked.

I visited again for a birthday dinner with my son. Promptly shown to our table, cosy and warm and a clear menu provided. Given time to ponder, whilst our drinks were arranged and brought to our table. I had salmon fillet with roasted winter vegetables and I have to say it was very tasty, juicy, fresh and perfectly seasoned! A short visit this time but well worth every pound spent!
Really nice place with superb ambience and hospitality. Food was wonderful as well!!
Not worthy of a one star.!!!!!!!!!! Having ensured that they were open for food on a Sunday evening,by looking in their website, we arrived after a long journey to discover that the kitchen was undergoing 'renovations'??? and thus...'not open!!' No indication of any 'renovations' was made on their website!! Good luck if you want to attempt to eat here!!
Nice Welsh burgers with crispy chunky chips. Excellent service, although fire alarm went off while waiting for food so food took slightly longer than expected. Garden area for warmer days.
