Extremely well kept, nice and flat. Next door is YHA, good food, not cheap. No idea of showers and toilets as closed due to covid. Lots to do around the area.

Barmaid said no swearing (wasn't aimed at her, just casual conversation) and then called my friend a liar several times as the app wouldn't download. Really bizarre, I think she was trying to be funny but we weren't in on the joke, it was incredibly rude. Been a couple of times, the time before we were told to wear a mask to sit down at a table, this is very understandable we just had left them in the car, I have no problem with that. It was just annoying that other people were walking around without masks no problem and this was apparently okay.
Pubs very nice one of the best spoons I've been too food was lovely beer was decent. Shame the 2 tables behind me (Adams family's) (Coalville on a day out) very noisy wouldn't shut up about drugs and coronavirus. On the bloody way out I absolutely cracked my head off the door frame stained my hat with the remaining paint on what's left of the frame. It did say please mind you're head. It's not the point my head feels like it's gonna fall off quicker than Katie prices pants. Again food was nice.

I used to be a usual with my grandparents, but the hygiene and everything was starting to go down hill in my last few visits. The final straw for me was when I ordered a banana split and got given an unpeeled banana and a bowl of ice cream, they proceeded to tell me to make it myself. Furthermore, it is extremely noisy, and there has often been drunk people yelling insults back and forth without intervention. I understand that staff are probably tired and earning much, but it ruins business and they could at least attempt to kick them out. My final point is that you cannot walk without stepping food thrown on the floor, seeing grime practically taking over surfaces etc. It is disgusting and I question whether it is in the public’s best interest to eat here.
