We went here whilst it was the 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme for a family meal. The pricing was affordable and the staff were friendly and helpful. It had the full social distancing measures in place as well as Track & Trace. We felt very welcomed and safe.

Had a visit to the ship today 18/08/2020. When we entered the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a little bit of confusion at the beginning where my order was wrong. The staff were very friendly and gave me a free drink whilst I waited for my meal to be changed. Today I recieved excellent service from the staff here and I must say the chips are to die for! The chicken fillet burger was 100% what I expect to recieve and it's been gorgeous to eat! I'd like to say a massive thank you for the staff going above and beyond to ensure excellent customer service!
Would like to thank all the staff in the pub the staff keep every one safe given you tables and taking you to them. A great atmosphere. Kenny j the singer was excellent will definitely be going again on our next visit
Though big and spacious, to allow for lots of people, I have never felt there to be much in the way of an atmosphere here. On my last vist I found the bar staff to be extremely rude. Plenty of seating inside and out though if all you want is beer and average food.
Really really impressed!!! This is the second year we've been to Skeg as a family and pass this pub on a daily basis, however we decided (after finding a 25% off food bill voucher online) to have lunch. It's huge with 2 large bars, one was closed which is where we ate, food came swiftly in all fairness we were some of the only people there. Food was absolutely spot on, home cooked and very tasty. Plenty for the kids to do even has a 2p pusher and 2p change machines, along with air hockey, pool tables and 5 bandits. Staff were friendly and even provided taxi numbers as we were heading home. On a side note the toilets were clean, modern and spacious something I don't see alot with large pubs! Will defiantly be going again next year. Thank You guys great service!
