Lovely pub to look at. Easy to follow covid rules on a board outside the pub, though pretty difficult to socially distance at the bar where you're still asked to order drinks from. Not participating in Eat Out to Help Out. 2 large diet cokes and 1 packet of crisps cost us just under 8 quid which i thought was a bit steep really.

We visited the Ship Inn on a recent stay in Wincle. This was our local and we truly lucked out. Great food, nice selection of beers and wines and super friendly staff. Thanks!

Great pub, great atmosphere and fantastic food.
Ale served really well. Didn't try the food however the menu looked good. You can walk to Luds Church from here which is a great walk. And the Ship Inn afterward is great for a recovery pint.
