Great food at extremely good prices. For the 2 of us we had a Sunday roast and a drink each for under 30. Really friendly staff, very welcoming. The pub dog came up to greet us as we came in. The food was served fast and there was plenty of it. The entire place was clean. It had a great atmosphere that was very inviting. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

We come to the Ship Inn every year on our holiday to Cornwall. Really nice food and friendly service. I love the building/decor and atmosphere too. Wanted to give 4.5 but you can't just not quite 5 for me, tiny little things like ran out of soap in toilets. But really great food, reasonably priced and very welcoming staff. We love it.
May need to book a table if busy. Good choice of food. Chef made dessert is to die for...i took their white chocolate cheesecake home as i was stuffed with my small plate of fish and chips. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful if you need help choosing the right dessert Lovely ambience with music playing in the background. Outdoor space for beer garden. Reasonable prices. Limited parking spaces, we parked on the main road. Table service which was a nicer and relaxed feel to having to buy at the bar.
Excellent beer and food when I visited in October 2020. All good and the lime cheesecake was really outstanding. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great food, just popped in and had fish and chips, they could do with bigger plates so the fish fitted on it, but the chips were great so crisp on the outside but fluffy on the inside, the peas were the best I have ever eaten out, the landlord and landlady were very warm and friendly, and although I am not vegetarian the veg I menu looked interesting
