Covid19 restrictions make any review difficult for to the restrictions. Most of Seaton is shut so went here as the menu looked good. Food was great I had scallops and my wife whitebait. Great. We then had a track of ribs each of the Specials Board. Wow huge plate arrived with the most fantastic runs that just melted in your mouth. The chips with it were among the best I have ever treated. Good selection of drinks on offer. A great meal and a pint for once!! Or waitress was wonderful and so friendly. Fully Recommend.

Visited this pub by the river for our last evening meal of the holiday. Oh, how we wish we had found it sooner! Great dog friendly Inn, lots of seating for eating inside and out. Car park a bit tiny considering the popularity but we managed to get in. Recommend you book your meal! Portions very generous and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering us samples of the chips and a recommended local beer. Fabulous customer service! Wish we had skipped the starters as we barely had room for dessert. Absolutely delicious food, piping hot and so obviously home made. Scallops and skate wing were very fresh and the steak and kidney pie had a beautiful duet crust pastry, full of meat and rich gravy. Don’t miss out when you are in the area.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. I can never decide on what meat to have and was really pleased that for just 1 extra could have a slice of all four! Great choice of vegetables came with it. 4*. Nice friendly staff.

Had a really nice meal here while staying nearby. Service was good and they allow dogs in, which was really nice (there is a separate seating area for people with dogs). Food was delicious. Only criticism was that they could have had more vegetarian options.

Lovely foodie pub, very friendly and helpful. Went once 18 months ago and was remembered. Food still a high standard, see pics. Pate, Pork Medallions in honey mustard sauce and Brownie with clotted cream. The veg that was served on the side looked a little \old\ and was a tad overcooked for my taste but it still tasted nice. Would recommend and visit again.
