The Ship are working so hard to make everyone feel safe and content in the new 'normal. The Sunday dinner is plated up if you wish to remain seated and safe at your table. You can carefully attend the carvery in isolation if you do wish. A very nice selection of vegetables, served nice and hot with plenty of meat. Pudding is a nursery style selection with good warming portions and plenty of custard. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and kind service by the staff who are attentive without rushing you through your meal.

Both of us had a different meal and we both agreed the food was wonderful. The meals were Chilli Con Carne and Korean belly pork with crunchy Aisian salad and salt and pepper chips, which were to die for. The belly pork was totally mouth watering
Delicious food, excellent service and dog friendly. The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and polite. From welcoming us on arrival, to serving us quickly and efficiently and even helping with their knowledge of the local area, we were so impressed we returned the following day. The food was served quickly and was hot and very tasty on both visits and they even have a dog menu including sausage and biscuits. Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.
Lovely presented beer garden. Safe covid measures in place and professional safe service. Didn't have chance to try the food or visit inside but a lovely experience. Will visit again.
Great to see the Ship battling through this difficult time. Has real nostalgic interest for lots of people. Will be back again as soon as circumstances permit
