We had a great meal my venison Scotch was cooked to perfection, followed by Ox cheek suit pudding quite outstanding. My wife's Hake with a poached egg hit all the right notes. All served in a socially distanced but only half full restaurant, made us feel totally safe. We will be back.

Delightful staff and delicious food - The Ship Inn in Ugborough is absolutely fantastic and the food is of exquisite quality. Staff are lovely and welcoming and dogs are allowed.
Very accomodating, friendly staff. Food was really good. Safety in place for entering the pub and also using the toilets. 9 of us arrived unannounced, they were able to feed us all! Sorry to the chap trying to read his book quietly in the pub garden!
Dropped in here today for lunch. We have been previously, but not for about a year! My Dad & I had the Haddock with Triple cooked Chips, it was fantastic! Light crispy batter on the fish and the chips were properly cooked, crisp & fluffy! Great food & very welcoming staff!
There was a mess up with the booking despite many email exchanges however it all worked out well. The food is absolutely fantastic - I had the fish and chips and my son had bangers and mash. Highly recommended!
