The Shimla Palace

Very lovely customer service, called up to book a table came across to the restaurant manager Moh who was really nice and friendly and directed me there. Got there was greeted through the door and was served by Yusuf who was really friendly recommended me many different dishes which was the best restaurant dishes I’ve had in a very long time. Loved it so much that I went back the next day, friendly staff, friendly people, lovely food, probably the best place to dine in, in the UK. The next day ended up having so much fun that ended up having a laugh and so much fun after closing hours and ended up having a drink with Yusuf. Have had a time of my life at this restaurant and would definitely recommend to go there without fail, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Thank you once again to the team and Yusuf for being brilliant.

Been going here for 20 years more or less, the reason being it's always a lovely meal and the guys are always pleasant and friendly. Great Indian food.

Staff at Shimla are so kind and attentive! We had a brilliant evening in there celebrating a birthday, they supplied a cake, sparklers, banners and a sing song! Would recommend

Well I was so looking forward to this place for a curry all booked for 6pm. Got there couldn't find us on sheet eventually they got the name wrong then sat at the table half an later poddoms come then the drinks. Then another 1 hour food turns up. Been cooked for a while so wasn't piping hot.. But the food did taste OK not big portions.. It was completely messed up they people queuing at door when came out people arguing over time slots.. Shame they couldn't cope..value for money no drinks very steep but I got the government deal so helped.. There's better and cheaper curry's out there where you take you're own drinks..
