Went last night, food was really good, tasted good, presented well and came out in good time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only draw back the toilets could do with being cleaned! But would definitely go back!

Good range of food. Good gluten free alternatives. Staff attitude variable. Currently being refurbed. Great for finding a quiet corner for a coffee and read. Great for sitting out surrounded by the buzz of town traffic.

Went there for new year's Dinner. The starter was good but everything went downhill very quickly from there. The Main and Desert were below average for how much we paid for it. The staff were very good and attentive, superb service. The pub was charming as well

We planned a small, informal reunion of ex-colleagues at The Sergison Arms and arrived at 7.30 pm for drinks. The pub wasn't busy but there was only one member of staff behind the bar so serving us took a while. A few customers were beginning to get frustrated then we asked for a table for dinner. We could see just a few diners and many empty tables. We were told there could be no further food orders taken as there were not enough staff to deal with the orders. 'At 7.45'? I asked. 'Yes' replied the overworked bar person. Where is the manager who runs a foodie pub without enough staff? Not good. We'll not be returning. We went instead to Cafe Rouge and enjoyed a pleasant meal.
