We opped in to Seashell for the first time a few days ago for a quick fish and chips take away. We haven't been here before but after hearing lot of positive feadbacks about the place We thought to give it a go. It was definitely wort it! The great fresh food in giant portions, the very quick and friendly service and the good price definitely lived up to our expectations. Given the current circumstances ( corona 19) I totally felt safe to pop in to grab our food. Staff were strictly wearing masks and gloves, and only limited queue was allowed inside making sure to keep the social distancing measures. Lovely experience, definitely recommended!

Very nice fish and chips, definitely worth it's reputation! Nice decor too, 10/10 recommended!
4.50 for a small chips and..500ml bottle of coke is a bit steep..chips were barely warm and mostly dry. Take away only due to covid so maybe chips had been cooked a while. Been here before and much better quality the other times I attended. Standards dropping at the seashell?
Totally worth the visit if you look for a high quality fish and chips. Great service, fast, nice presentation and taste is amazing. There is enough distance between each table and waiters use face mask at all times. The restaurant has an exquisite decoration. Each fish and chips is around 18 pounds.
An institution that has stayed true to what it does best, The Sea Shell of Lisson Grove offers an ample selection of seafood and variants of its signature fish and chips. Top marks for the batter, which was light and crispy and served as the perfect canvas to the generous portions of fish. The fish was fresh and juicy, and sat beautifully with the batter. When your fish and batter stands up to each other in perfect harmony, you know this is a place that has honed its craft well. Chips and mushy peas were well executed and dependable. Oddly enough, the coffee was excellent.
