We went during covid and they are very well equiped ,and busy .its not cheep and portions are small i had salmon hollandaise that was perfect , . husband had comfy of duck which was over done and potatoes were tasteles . We booked on line which offerd 20%discount. i rang a few days b4 to ask if we could eat outside .and our booking hadnt been regesterd . So good job i rang i said about the 20% and when i enterd to eat they said yes .. but charged us full price. Service was slow .it was a hot day my Neice was getting Maried but numbers were limitated so we watched from affar ,which worked beatifully . We shared a bottle of red at 26 but happy to pay as getting a discount on the food still 17 each .the sting in the tail is we were charged 2.per glass for soda water we had 5 putting 10 on total price ,most pub s /resterants only charge 60 p if you have a shot of lime .or free if plain. It is a beautiful and lovely venue though and we shall go again .staff were very efficient and pleasent. Thank you schoolhouse

Really good meal with excellent service. Well spaced out tables staff well informed regarding Covid procedures. Definitely will make it one to return to in the near future with friends and family.

Lovely food . not too expensive. Accommodated children and those with special diets. Social distancing and Covid hygiene excellent. Staff courteous and friendly.
