Food 5* service 5* cleanness 5* scenery 5*. We absolutely loved our stay we got offered a cottage just so we could stay the night as we had booked the ferry for 7:45am the next day (we know this wasn't really meant to happen so thank you very much for doing that for us, everywhere else was fully booked and we were traveling with my partners parents, they stayed in the hotel luckily enough someone had cancelled a double room (family room) the food was so fresh and the prices were very reasonable. Would recommend everything from the menu including the deserts. We will go back 100% and thanks for making our last day in Orkney very enjoyable.

Food was good and polite friendly staff
We use to come along while being holiday makers but now we live round the corner we are often there for lunch. Every time it's better than the previous one. Everyone is so welcoming from the waitress, bar staff, the chef and any guests. It's like having a family around. There isn't much that trouble the staff and they will always make a difference. Thank you once again for being so kind every time.
Very good
The food at the Sands is really nice, good quality local produce and you get a decent portion I've never left hungry. The staff are always friendly and very helpful.
