Nice meal, good quality pub grub. Had a lovely beef in Guiness pie, very tasty! Good size portion, and staff helpful and friendly.

Very accommodating staff and the food was superb at Christmas was 11 of us and we all enjoyed it and had a great time
We had booked the sand boy for the wake of our late father . Even though having to compily with the current covid restrictions, the staff at the Sand boy were exelent the food was great and they really went the extra mile to made a sad day slightly better . A lovely friendly pub with tons of character
This is a very welcoming pub , lovely atmosphere with great food and service , that great we had our dads wake there.
