Had a fantastic meal at 'Thai at the Salutation.' We had a very warm welcome , delicious food and the staff are very attentive. The sharing platter starter was delicious followed by a superb main of Weeping Tiger and a lamb shank dish which just fell off the bone! The price was reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this place!

It was our first time at \The Sal\ tonight. We had a great time. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was our first time ordering Thai food and the waitress helped us out and recommended us a great meal. Prices were spot on. The atmosphere inside was really warm and friendly. Downstairs in the pub the football was on and the place was quite full, upstairs all but 2 tables were full and although it was loud it wasn't booming or echoie like in some places. All in all we had a lovely evening and will definitely be going back soon. I would recommend \The Salutation\ to everyone.
The Outside part of it is a nice place where you can have good time with your friends. It have some hype, nice design, lights. The bad thing is the lack of education on some individuals that will start to walk on chairs and tables. That is spoils all the good impressions about the location (I think should be some restrictions and rules of conduct).
Happy to visit this dog friendly place, was looked after well by staff. Enjoyed a part Thai - English meal ( my choice to mix). Lovely, large garden area, with pergolas and heaters if required.
Went to Thai at the Sal - restaurant upstairs. Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff. Only thing - food would have been better served on a hot plate so rice and noodles etc stayed warm for duration of meal. Otherwise, couldn't fault it!
