Excellent cafe with a good menu, prices, and service. Effective Covid measures. First class country view over Gold Hill. Indoor and outdoor seating. Recommended venue for a coffee & cake or for lunch.

Thought we'd give this place a try for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised, we were greeted when we walked in and shown to a free table, which is rare by what we saw they get very booked up. The menu was very well presented as was the food. I had a homemade steak pie which was divine, couldn't recommend this place any higher and will certainly be coming again.

This is a lovely little cafe in a amazing setting that is overlooking the view of Gold hill in Shaftesbury,I cannot comment on the food as we only had a drink but other customers were eating & seemed very satisfied by what they had...It’s a lovely place and the staff were all very pleasant & welcoming....

The Salt Cellar is brilliant. Excellent mushroom soup and plenty of follow on choices. Their salads are delicious. Always pleasant service. A generally excellent experience.
