Very slow service, we ordered starters and main meals at around 8pm. At 10pm our bill was brought to us, which included our food, for which we had only received the two starters (between 5 of us) ordered and not the main meal (hardly a difficult order, one pizza and 4 fish n' chips). No attempt to apologise until prompted, and the drinks service we did receive was shockingly slow. Such a shame as we all really wanted to support a local business under new management, but this is not the way to retain custom!

Excellent evening with Elvis
Good honest British Pub with a good menu of dishes to suit everyone, reasonably priced too. Food is cooked to order and the service is excellent. I enjoyed a Pieminister Moo & Blue with mash, garden peas and a boat of gravy on the side perfect. The Pub decor is genuinely traditional and there are a selection of real ale on tap. Definitely visit again and recommend to colleagues for a lunchtime visit.
