Had a lovely bit of haddock and some great chips. You can eat your food over the road at the pub, they even bring it out to you. Or you can take your drinks over to the restaurant. Highly recommended.
Really delicious sausage in batter and chips with real Heinz tomato ketchup squirty capsules and a great cup of tea to take away - Royal Plaice is tucked away behind the quay front, in the middle of Appledore - you order at the hatch and wait out side and they bring it out to you. Comes in a cardboard box with greasproof paper inside so the food doesn't get cold and sweaty like it does if given in a plastic bag. And then you can eat it overlooking the quay 20 yards away, and see the fishermen's boats going back to harbour with their catch. My favourite plaice and place to eat out
Fish and chips to die for! So nice we went back (an hours drive) for some more! We all thought they were the nicest we've ever had! Lovely!
Lovely fish and chips and you can eat them in the pub opposite who supply cutlery.
