A surprising little gem just off the A52. I spent hours trying to find a place to get Sunday lunch. All of the places barring one we have visited so far have been nice but mediocre especially with a vegitarian family member. However the Sunday roast here at the Oak was spectacularly good. With all the love you would put in to make a roast at home with that bit extra you expect from a visit out. Cauliflower cheese would make an exceptional edition to their menu but it was delicious. The desert was just as yummy. Good job

Quaint pub with lots of small rooms to eat and drink inside. One of the rooms can be used for functions such as discos or weddings. There is also a seating area outside for drinking and eating but this I feel is part of the carpark. Prices for food and drinks are reasonable and food is delivered quickly. The toilets are, however, outside again near the carpark which is bad in cold wet weather. Staff are nice and friendly. The venue is worth a visit
