Absolutely loved this place! They very kindly allowed us to spend the night in their quiet secluded and quiet car park in our small campervan. I don't think they do food anymore, which is a bit of a shame because if the food was half as lovely as the welcome we received it would still be outstanding. Anyway we self catered instead and then called in for a pint! We were both completely blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the locals, they were so warm & genuine and fun. You know when a normal night just evolves into something really special, we'll that's what happened here to us. Maybe it was just a one off, but I doubt it.... We will just have to visit again and make sure.... I can't wait! Oh and by the way the beer was excellent which goes someway to justifying the amount I consumed... Why don't YOU give The Royal Oak a visit and find out WHY we rate it so highly Thank you all for such a great night

Friendly country pub ,good atmosphere. Function room, 2 skittle alleys ,real ale. Garden and parking,easy access .

Great little pub that allowed MH stopovers, just 5 a night with hookup and water. No food but good beer!
Had a lovely stay but was no food on but was due to the landlady been on holiday
